We are excited that you are joining the Master of Science in Accountancy program at Gies College of Business here at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. You are now part of the Gies family, and we want to make sure you take advantage of all the support and resources available to you and that starts today!

First Steps

Step 1:
New Student Checklist

Please review and complete the MSA Student Checklist. These are essential steps to help you get started with your graduate school experience

Step 2:
Claim Your NetID

Your NetID will give you access to campus services, including e-mail and file storage. New students should visit the NetID claiming website.

Step 3:
Begin the Gies Professionals Pathway Course (OPENING March 8)

Access to the Gies Professional Pathway Course.  You must  claim your NetID and access your @illinois.edu  first! This course is not a requirement, but will aid in your journey towards getting a job!

Step 4:
Review the MSA Student Manual

Be sure to download the Graduate Student Manual and review it prior to orientation. It is important that you are aware of this content.

EPT Exam Dates for MSA International Students on limited status (check your official offer letter to see if you were admitted on limited status due to English Proficiency Exam results)

MSA has two dedicated session for EPT. Please register for one of these sessions. DO NOT register for sessions other than MSA
