Hello there! My name is Vidur Badam, and I am a Senior majoring in Accountancy with a minor in Informatics. I am an international student from Dubai, and I’m originally from Mumbai.

 

First of all, I would like to say thank you for taking an interest in our club! We will do our utmost to help you flourish throughout your time at UIUC and beyond. We offer a multitude of different professional, social, and philanthropy events every week, and we collaborate with a lot of different companies and clubs for each event too. You will have the chance to connect with a number of different professionals each week, make a ton of friends through the club, as well as grow professionally through attending the different career development workshops we host.

 

Coming into Freshman year, Accounting Club was the first organization I ever joined. The reason I’ve stuck with it during all my four years is due to the abundance of opportunities available that helped me grow professionally as well as personally. I can confidently say that most of the professional connections I have made throughout my time here have been directly or indirectly related to me being part of Accounting Club. I have also made some of my best friends through the club as well.

 

Our job as the executive board is to make sure you have the best experience possible, and we strive to improve in any way we can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us, and please take full advantage of everything we provide. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
