Upon graduating, Sarah will be working at Kraft Heinz where she will participate in a year-long rotational program as a Marketing Trainee. "Gies provided me with everything I needed to be successful in my future career. Including meetings with advisors, resume reviews and networking opportunities."

Graduate Student Networking Event
October 24, 4:00-5:30 pm, Via Zoom
This event features panel of current and past Research Park graduate interns who will share about their experiences and offer advice on landing an internship in the Park.
Students will have the chance to network with Research Park companies who are looking to hire graduate-level talent. Students are encouraged to have digital copies of their resumes and links to their LinkedIn profiles on hand.

GBSN Localized Virtual Global Career Fair
November 16 - November 17, 12:00 - 5:00 pm
As a Gies student you have access to the GBSN Beyond Student Conference and Career Fair! There is no cost for Gies students to participate in this virtual event. Students must register themselves using the code: GiesGBSNbeyond. The registration link can be found on Gies Groups using the link provided below.
Register by this weekend to secure your spot in preliminary networking events taking place November 2 and November 5. Once you have registered you will be able to see the full agenda and register for all sessions of interest.

Illinois CPA Society’s Mary T. Washington Wylie Internship Preparation Program
Application Deadline: November 9
Program Dates: January 6 - 8, 2021
This award-winning program is an all-expenses paid opportunity that launches racial/ethnic minority college students into the accounting profession with access to training, resources, and mentors. At the end of the program, employers interview students for a variety of paid accounting internships that could lead to full-time jobs.
