Details

The Accountancy Career Exploration Forum will provide undeclared business majors and Division of General Studies students with an interest in Accountancy the opportunity to learn more about the Accountancy curriculum and career opportunities. Faculty member Angel Chatterton will provide insight into the skills and knowledge students will develop through the Accountancy curriculum, and professionals will share about their experiences in industry. The event will be followed by a Q&A session with a panel including faculty, alumni, and career and academic advisors.

Morgan Gast

Morgan Gast is from St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from University of Illinois in May 2018 with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance. After interning during summer 2017 for the KPMG Chicago office, she started full time in September 2018. She is currently an Audit Associate in the Asset Management practice, focusing primarily on Investment Management clients.

Angel Chatterton

Senior Instructor of Accountancy

Gies College of Business

Angel Chatterton, CPA has been a full time instructor of accountancy at the University of Illinois since August 2015. In October 2016, she was appointed a director of the BSA and MAS programs. Prior to joining the University in August 2015, Ms. Chatterton’s career path included auditing, CFO of a construction supply company, internal audit and risk underwriting, commercial loan officer, forensic accounting, and a president and CEO of a bank.
