We are putting together a resource for our incoming students in order to help them get acclimated to campus and the MSM program. We would like to get your candid feedback and opinions on several different aspects of your experience in the program. We think the best way to get this information is to ask you- our recent grads! Be sure to think about what you wish you would have know before starting our program.

What were your favorite classes you have taken in the MSM program? Explain why.

What resources are available to MSM students?

What are the best organizations or RSO's to get involved in while a student? (Example: IBC, iData/Disruption Lab, Market Information Lab, EntreCORPS, Illinois Design Consulting, Product Management at Illinois (PM@Illinois), Marketing Analytics RSO, Illinois Analytica RSO, and more!)

Did you have a student job while in the MSM program? If so, where did you work? How did you find that job? Do you have any advice for incoming students looking for student jobs?

What are some restaurants with good vegetarian options available?

Where is the best place to grocery shop? Briefly explain why. Are there certain locations that are best for international items?

Where are the best places to study? Briefly explain why.

Knowing what you know now, how should students start preparing for the job search in the first semester? How about in the 2nd semester?
