This study abroad trip will focus specifically on helping students develop a deeper understanding of the challenges global companies face in successfully employing professional responsibility strategies across their organizational network, as well as highlighting the ways in which these issues are viewed from American and European perspectives. France and Belgium, immensely significant centers for global commerce and governance, have been selected as the 2019 sites for this study abroad experience. Both locations offer a rich and dynamic mix of international companies, governmental agencies and not-for-profit organizations, and will serve as distinctive settings to challenge students to learn about and consider professional responsibility issues in fresh and provocative ways.
This course is designed by the Center for Professional Responsibility in Business and Society.
