Understanding How You Will Meet Specific Requirements

Math Graduation Requirement

All Gies College of Business students are required to take CS 105 – Introduction to Computing: Non-Technical, which satisfies the Quantitative Reasoning (QR) 1 general education requirement.

Students with AP, IB, or A-level credit, or dual enrollment transfer credit for an equivalent course from the list on the right will not need to take an additional QR course.

You will be able to talk about whether you still need a math course and what the best option for you will be when you meet with your advisor.

List of Courses:

MATH 115 – Preparation for Calculus

MATH 220 – Calculus

MATH 221 – Calculus I

MATH 231 – Calculus II

MATH 234 – Calculus for Business

STAT 100 – Statistics
