Seeking research assistants for the marketing field study
Study Introduction:
We are a team of fresh professors and Ph.D. students in Marketing eager to know more about consumers.
In this study, we want to know the purchase behaviors across local weekend markets, including farmer's markets and flea markets.
Job Description:
We need assistance in collecting consumer responses and coding these paper responses. The data collection will happen on Oct 14th and will last around 6 hours (including commuting and preparation). Specifically, we need:
1. Four students to intercept consumers with a one-page survey. The students will need to communicate with people, asking them to fill the survey, and collect their folded survey in an opaque box. The students will give participants individually wrapped candies as a thank-you gift.
2. One student to help with data coding. The student will enter the paper survey data collected at the markets into an excel sheet. We expect to have at least 200 surveys, which of each contains 8-10 questions. Expect to take up to 5 hours including error checking.
