Zach McLain serves as the Director of Strategic Solutions Engineering at T-Mobile. Zach first worked as a Trainer for Creative Labs from 1994-1998, where he provided technical training to new hires and was responsible for all training materials including training lab equipment. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University in 1998, he joined 3Com as a Systems Engineer where he was responsible for pre- and post- Sales support including technical assistance, project management, consulting, and installation of 3Com products. After serving as a Sales Engineer for Qwest Communications, Zach joined T-Mobile in January 2004 where he first worked as a Solutions Engineer. He became a Solutions Engineering Manager in December 2014 and the Head of Solutions Planning in September 2017 before taking on the role of Director in September 2019. Zach focuses on leading teams which help T-Mobile consumers leverage their 5G networks to support businesses in new, innovative ways.
