Zoom
Zoom is an online web conferencing tool that allows instructors to create synchronous, virtual classrooms to make meeting with students simple, easy, and more reliable. Zoom is often built in to both Illinois Compass2g and Moodle. More information about Zoom can be found through the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning.
Moodle
Moodle is an online LMS used to deliver learner-centric tools and collaborative learning environments for both teaching and learning. Examples of things you might find in your Moodle courses include readings, discussing forums, assignments, quizzes/tests, links to class sessions, and grades.

Compass2g
Compass2g, also called Blackboard learn, is a learning management system that offers a secure environment in which students and instructors can share content, create and tun in assignments, and keep track of grades. When you enter your Compass 2g site, you will see a dashboard of your past and present courses hosted on Compass2g, so make sure you are selecting the correct section and semester. Course content such as readings, lecture notes, and videos can be accessed through one systems in order to simply deliver for the instructor. Canvas/Instructure offers learning modules and features such as discussing boards, readings, lecture notes, videos, and space to submit assignments.

Scholar
Scholar is a "Social Learning" platform developed by faculty and researchers at the College of Education. Scholar allows a meeting place for knowledge communities, student workspace, assessment space, course design and delivery, and web portfolios, profile pages.
