Supply Chain Management Application is Now Open

Leslie Lewis |  Associate Dir, Academic Success - Wednesday, September 4, 2019
 Announcements
Supply Chain Managment is now taking applications for a limited number of seats to the Supply Chain Managment program in the Gies College of Business.  Applications will be accepted between now and Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 11pm.  Applications should be submitted online at https://illinois.edu/fb/sec/139938.  Please schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to discuss your SCM interests and required courses.

Who Should Apply?

  • Students who like to blend creative and analytical thinking for solving large-scale real-world problems.
  • Students who have a grade point average of 3.25 GPA or higher
  • Students who are willing to participate in all program activities (site visits, case competitions, corporate affiliate events, etc).
  • Students who are thinking of pursuing a dual degree or double major! Many of our students combine the SCM major with degrees in Marketing, ISIT, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management or International Business
  • You must be a sophomore with an expected graduation date of Fall 2021 or May 2022 to apply to the program. Juniors may apply as well but timely graduation is not guaranteed. If you are currently a freshman, please think about making supply chain your major next academic year!

More Information:

After completing the application, you will receive information concerning the next steps, which is the interview process. If you are applying this Fall and were deferred for admission, you do not need to re-apply or do anything further. We will update your GPA internally based on the Fall semester’s grades. Students who were denied admission in Fall may reapply during the Spring application period.

For a student perspective about the SCM program, you may contact one of our SCM Student Advisors at advisors.scm@gmail.com

You may also send your questions to the Director of the Supply Chain Management Program -

Professor Nehemiah Scott (nehemiah@illinois.edu)
