As has been the case in the previous Winter Sessions, enrollment is limited to undergraduate students, and students may register for only one course. Financial aid is not generally available for Winter Session enrollment. All courses are short-format, online offerings, so students must have access to technology needed for the course throughout the duration of the session, should be comfortable with online courses, and must be prepared that the material will move at a fast pace.
Because of the fast pace, it is critical that students who wish to take a winter course enroll as soon as possible. Although December 22, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. CST is the deadline to add for degree-seeking students, registration by December 20 is strongly encouraged. The Learning Management Systems used in the courses have a 24- to 48-hour lag between Banner enrollment and LMS addition, so even registering by the deadline will likely result in the student missing one to two days of class due to the LMS lag.
Important dates and deadlines, including drop and refund deadlines, for degree-seeking students can be found on the Office of the Registrar’s website.
Information for non-degree students, including dates, deadlines, and registration procedures, can be found on CITL’s website, which will have updated information relevant for the winter posted on or around mid-September.
