Advising Appointments – Scheduled NOW via Gies Groups
A lot has changed since last semester – mainly a new communication platform, Gies Groups, that replaces OrgSync. Gies Groups is where you will be scheduling your advising appointments, registering for events and receiving my newletters and other communications. (See Attachment)
Internship offer??
Did you receive a full-time job offer from your summer internship? Please schedule time with me so that we can discuss your offer, negotiation strategies, acceptance timeline and overall benefits package.
LAMP List…
It is that time of year to dust off your LAMP list, revisit existing connections with professionals and alumni, and make some new ones. It is never too early to start your informational interviews. If you need a refresher on the LAMP list, outreach strategy or tracking, just ask.

Extra Credit! - Tips, Advice and Resources
To close, here are some personal favorites from Vault’s 15 productivity tips from successful founders:
- Do the most difficult task first.
- Get rid of frequent meetings, unless you are dealing with an extremely urgent matter.
- Set a deadline to make a decision.
- Set aside time for yourself.
- Don’t spend your day managing to inbox zero. Pick one to two problems every day that are important for you to dig into strategically and allot real time to them by cutting off your access to e-mail.

Have a great week!
