30 minute Career Advising Appointments
When you login on Gies Groups, you will see appointment availability for me (Lily Huang); and my colleague Layla Alazawy, an advisor who works with students in all graduate programs; and all of our wonderful graduate student Peer Career Advisors. You are welcome to schedule an appointment with any advisor who is available when you are free.
60 minute Practice Interview Appointments
If you have been invited to an interview, congratulations! Now let's practice so you are prepared and you feel the most confident during your interview! The Practice Interview appointment should be more than 24 hours (and ideally at least 3 or 4 days) before the actual interview so that you have time to use the feedback you receive in the appointment to prepare for the interview. Practice interviews can be scheduled with me directly via email: qhuang3@illinois.edu.
Week of 4/13: Telling Your Story, Building Your Brand
Stay tuned for brand new virtual programming that will be held throughout the remainder of the semester! Candor: User-Generated List of companies and Hiring / Hiring Freeze status
Note: This information is self-reported and NOT validated by an independent party. If you are interested in a particular company, you reach out to a contact at the company yourself. Or let me know what companies you are interested in, and Career Services will reach out to them on behalf of all Gies College of Business students. What is interesting about this list is the general indication of what kinds of companies are listed as currently hiring.
