President's Message

As President of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) - UIUC Chapter, I would like to welcome you to our website. On-campus, our chapter has laid the foundation for student professionalism and future organizations focused on students of color since 1983. Unlike our name suggests, we invite students of every major, career path, and background to join our pursuit of professional advancement. Today, NABA - UIUC Chapter remains the longest-serving organization for minority business students at the University of Illinois; with a proud legacy of providing quality programming and services throughout the campus community. Our members are our family, and our mission is simple: Create opportunities. Whether this is through professional development sessions, company presentations, or social/networking events; we do everything in our power to put our family in the best position for success.

Although these may be troubling times, our Executive Board is dedicated to ensuring our members have the utmost exposure to the professional world. All while being mindful of the value they add to any and all teams they are a part of. Our lives, futures, and voices matter. Now and Forever.

Please take the time to check out our upcoming events. If you have any questions or comments, please send us an email and we will respond shortly.

Come join the NABA - UIUC Family

Sincerely,

Mark Cruse, President
