The Dean's Student Advisory Board (DSAB) serves as the voice of the undergraduate students in the Gies College of Business, encouraging the continued growth of the college. It is now comprised of 15 students who represent a diverse set of backgrounds. Our purpose is to:
· Serve in an advisory role for the leadership of Gies College of Business to integrate students' and faculty efforts and perspectives
· Spearhead initiatives and lead projects focused on improving the student experience in the college
· Increase undergraduate student representation as a major stakeholder in the College and serve as advisors to the Office of the Dean
· Identify opportunities and implement initiatives through integration with College efforts
We are a project-based organization with multiple initiatives running concurrently to ensure that student voices are taken into account for policy changes and initiatives. DSAB members are committed to working behind the scenes to serve the Gies College of Business by regularly meeting with the dean, undergraduate deans, faculty, and students to source ideas and implement meaningful change. Our vision is to catalyze change in the college by creating a more cohesive, connected culture and environment.
