Are you enrolled in Illinois summer courses and you've changed your mind?  If you do not plan to attend, then the last day to cancel all Illinois summer coursework through Self-Service is MAY 18, 2025, BY 11:59PM CST!

HOW TO CANCEL....
Use the Summer Cancel Request on the Self-Services Dashboard. Canceling means…. 

• The course(s) session has not started.
• You did not attend and/or complete work for the course(s).
• You do not plan to register for another summer Illinois course.

Review Illinois Registrar - Cancel Registration closely for more information.

QUICK SUMMER CONSIDERATIONS...
Summer courses are demanding; they have the same 16-weeks of work compacted in 12 weeks or less.  Make arrangements to give your courses the attention they need and consider the following....

• Know when your courses start!  Review the Illinois Summer 2025 Academic Calendar.
• Pay attention to the drop deadlines and refund schedule. 
• Review your DARS to determine course options. 
• Use Course Explorer to identify the part of term the Illinois course is offered and know whether it’s online or on-campus. 
• Calculate tuition and connect with your financial support.
• Online Tutoring is available through The Jefferies Center
• Consider additional obligations: Work, trips, internships, conferences, personal goals
