MEET

There are several opportunities to meet with T&M students, staff, and faculty throughout the fall semester each year.

Additionally, T&M Student Ambassadors are available to meet with you at your convenience.

APPLY

Applications for admission to T&M minor are to be submitted during winter break by students planning to graduate in May, August, or December 2023. The application opened on December 11, 2020, and will close on January 25, 2021.

Applications for admission to the T&M Seminar (BADM/ENG 261) are to be submitted during the spring semester by students completing their freshman year in May 2021. T&M Seminar will occur Fall 2021.

INTERVIEW

Applicants selected to interview for admission to T&M minor will complete conversational interviews. The number of interviews and with whom will be communicated at the time of selection.

Interviews are not required for the T&M Seminar admissions process.

 
 
 
 

The program traditionally admits roughly equal numbers of engineering and business majors. Students who are eligible to apply must have one of the following majors:
     Gies College of Business (all majors)
     The Grainger College of Engineering (all majors)
     College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (Agricultural and Biological Engineering majors only)
     College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (Chemical Engineering majors only)

Students transferring from another university or a community college and current students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the process of transferring to a qualifying college/major may apply to the T&M minor, but admission into the program will be contingent upon acceptance into the University of Illinois, the college, and the qualifying major.
