As mentioned in the “What You Need to Know for Spring (2^nd Half)” email sent on March 25^th, there are still career workshops, employer events and career fairs (all delivered virtually now). We encourage you to participate and engage in these events to continue to develop yourself professionally, improve your communication skills and build connections with employers and industry professionals!

Mastering your Next Virtual Interview [COVID-19 Edition]

The coronavirus is changing the way we conduct our professional lives. A majority of employers are now changing their in-person meetings to either phone or video. Are you prepared for this shift? Do you know how to successfully brand yourself virtually? We encourage all students to attend -- whether you're looking for roles in the US or outside the US -- because many multinational corporations are leveraging technology in their interview process these days!

[Virtual Career Connections Series] Research Park Career Chat

Employer-related events can be a great opportunity to gather knowledge about the organization and the type of candidate they are seeking. Even if you are not their target group, it doesn’t hurt to ask questions to build your knowledge base and build connections with company representatives. If you are seeking internships and the company is recruiting to fill full-time roles, use this opportunity to learn more about the company so that you’re prepared in Fall when you are ready to seek full-time roles.
