October is Interview Preparation Month!
Now is the time to prepare for interviews, if you have one scheduled or not.
It’s all about planning ahead and making time. Here is the overview of activities this month: If you have any questions, please let me know. I look forward to helping you practice.
Below are the 3 events in the series:
Instructions:
1. Log in to the Big Interview (https://illinois.biginterview.com/) with your NetID and Password
2. Click on the Practice tab > Practice Interviews > Click “Industry” and choose question sets based on your desired industry or job title. Record your videos and remember to save them! To view your saved videos, click on the My Videos tab.
3. Schedule an appointment on Handshake with your career advisor.
o Choose the appointment type “Practice Interview”.
o In the “What can we help you with?” text box, paste your video links from Big Interview. To maximize your time, we recommend submitting at least 5 video clips.
4. During your appointment, the career advisor will watch your recorded interview videos with you and provide you feedback on individual answers.

3. How to Prepare for Case Interview Questions – Thurs, Oct 22 (Register)
