Hello MBA’s & PMBA’s!

**I will be on vacation next week and will be out of the office starting on March 13^th returning on March 22^nd. If you need anything career related, feel free to email Elizabeth Chominski or submit your question through the ‘message career services form’ on the Gies Groups homepage.

As you reflect on your career search thus far, keep in mind that we are coming up on the end of the marathon and are in the last quarter of the race. Don’t lose sight of your progress or your ambition to land a job by graduation!

For those still seeking, take time to write out a plan for the remaining months to follow-up on your network leads, thank those who have helped to connect or refer you and continue reaching out for support and guidance on finishing the race successfully. Our priority is to help you succeed so please let me know how I and others can assist you!

A few reminders to put on your to-do-list this weekend…

Double check your resume on your Handshake profile – make sure that you check the box ‘visible’ or ‘public’. This way, employers can see your resume and it shows that you are focused on landing a job. This goes for your profile access as well. You should see a green note on the left side of your profile letting you know it is visible to employers.
Sign up - Practice interviewing this month! We have several sessions this month which allow you to practice your video/virtual interviewing. Finding a job should be a priority and that includes preparing your resources and exercising your interview preparedness. Be prepared to knock your next interview out of the park!
Sign-up to meet with your career advisor for a resume review, LinkedIn Profile review, practice interview, cover letter review or just a career conversation. I will be out of the office on vacation next week, but my calendar availability is open beginning on March 22^nd.
