Throughout the month of October there are multiple events with Research Park that should be of interest to our Gies Graduate students. If you haven’t had a chance yet to learn about the Research Park on campus make sure to sign up for one of these events. Research Park consists of an impressive list of corporations and start ups that are involved in research and innovation.

RIR Workshop with Sophie Roney: "How To Optimize Your LinkedIn Presence"
Wednesday, October 14, 12-1pm
This workshop will give students a chance to engage with the Research Park Recruiter in Residence and gain information on how to improve your presence on LinkedIn.
Catalyze: A Professional Networking Event
Tuesday, October 20, 5:30-7pm
Catalyze is a open networking event open to innovators and curious individuals through the campus and Champaign-Urbana community. This event is focused on networking and is not to be viewed as a recruiting event.
Graduate Student Networking Event
Tuesday, October 27, 4:00-5:30pm
Annual event hosted by Research Park designed to give Graduate students a chance to engage with Research Park companies to learn about internships and job opportunities. This event is not a career fair. Students will be able to connect with site managers to learn more about what areas need graduate students and the skills you bring.
