A career in risk management is one that is purpose-driven and offers stability with limitless opportunity. As you participate in the Academy, you get access to hands-on learning through projects and practicums.  We have a mentorship program that pairs you with industry professionals.

ARMA gives students a chance to explore professional development resources, share experiences to enhance interest in risk management and network with successful business leaders who provide insight into launching a successful career.

About the ARMA

The Academy was established in 2018 in collaboration with global specialty insurer and reinsurer AXIS. AXIS is generously funding the development and management of the AXIS Risk Management Academy in partnership with the Office of Risk Management and Insurance Research.

 

Applications are accepted each semester. Students are admitted during their freshman or sophomore years, although occasionally we accept juniors. We are looking for academic potential and a strong desire to learn more about risk management.
