Membership in the Council of Presidents has many benefits, including (but not limited to):
- Increased Visibility within the College, University and outside Community
- Increased access to College Faculty and Staff
- Special consideration for corporate partnership
- Exclusive funding opportunities
- Access to bulletin boards in Wohlers Hall
- Opportunities to co-sponsor major College initiatives and gain experience in event planning and management
- Exclusive access to Council only communication avenues (Compass site, presence in Undergraduate Handbook, presence on Undergraduate webpage)
All organizations belonging to the Council are expected to actively engage in Council events and gatherings. These include (but are not limited to):
- Bi-weekly meetings
- Three volunteer events (Two career fair coat checks and one philanthropy event)
- One informational fair (Business Quad Day)
- Miscellaneous other items should they arise (Reverse Career Fair, Networking event, etc)
The Council is overseen by the Office of Undergraduate Affairs. Daily operations of the Council include (but are not limited to) organization review, management of Compass site, tracking of organization requirement fulfillment, disciplinary action, meeting organization, funding review and event management. The Associate Director of Undergraduate Affairs and the Council of Presidents Advisory Board oversee the Council.
