Prime
Prime M&A was founded to bridge the gap between freshmen and the rigors of investment banking recruiting. In the analyst program, underclassmen are given exposure to the investment banking industry through a weekly curriculum that covers topics such as valuation, deal structuring, market evaluation and firm strategy. The semester-long simulation serves as the core of the Prime experience, where students form teams of three and play the role of an investment banker, advising clients in M&A situations. Most recently, all 22 new members of the Illinois Investment Banking Academy completed both Prime's analyst and associate programs.
