Stat 107 is a new course for Fall 2019. It is open to student from any major and has a number of features that the Department of Statistics believe students will find very attractive:
- introduces students to computing in Python, statistics, and working with real-world data.
- no prerequisites and presumes no background in data science or related fields
- offered MWF 12–12:50pm
Right now, it says there are 300 seats available, but if those fill up, more can be opened. For more information please visit the course website and Course Explorer.
