Gies College of Business | Groups

Welcome to the Upsilon Chapter!
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Our Pillars

Brotherhood

In Delta Sigma Pi, our members build lifelong relationships with each other in both professional and social settings. We look to make connections that last far beyond college by taking on a number of social events together including Biz Bowl, Business Olympics, Barn Dance and Formal. In the past year, our brothers have gone on some unforgettable trips together, which helped further strengthen the friendships is Delta Sigma Pi. This Winter, a group of over 30 brothers went on a week-long ski trip in Breckenridge, Colorado. Last Spring Break, some brothers traveled to Siesta Keys, Florida for the week. And, just this past summer, a group of Dsig alumni explored Asia together on a three-week vacation. Delta Sigma Pi doesn’t just create college friendships; it fosters lifelong friendships.

Professionalism

We strive to improve our strong standing with the Gies College of Business, our extensive alumni network, and our 14 corporate sponsors. Our members have the opportunity to develop themselves professionally with events such as mock interviews, resume critiques, etiquette dinners, and exclusive networking events. As a result, our brothers celebrate a 100% job placement for seniors and a 100% internship placement for juniors.

Philanthropy

We look to make a positive difference in the world. Delta Sigma Pi commits to supporting the communities around us by working with a number of local and global causes and hosting philanthropic events such as the Tree of Hope, Suicide Prevention Walk, Kickin' It With Corporate, Books for Prisoners, and events that benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
