What We Do

Peer MentoringPicture

Through mentor-mentee relationships with College of Business alumni, members are able to expand their knowledge of the professional world and obtain guidance for their own future success. Our diverse membership also allows members to learn from peers through peer mentoring. Peer-to-Peer mentorship provides its members with direction in such subject groups as adjusting to the University of Illinois, class selection, interviewing, and professional etiquette. Fusion also prides itself on being unique in its goal of expanding relationships with the faculty of the College of Business.

Leadership Opportunity

Fusion provides its members with leadership opportunities, as well as educational and professional mentoring. Fusion currently operates in a hierarchical structure that allows its members to not only build leadership skills, but also utilize their educational backgrounds from Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and other business related fields for personal and group benefit.

Professional Development

With multiple company presentations throughout the semester, Fusion helps its members develop networking skills. Our organization strives to have a variety of accounting and non-accounting companies represented at our weekly meetings. In addition, we have Linked In workshops, resume critiques, and mock interviews. As a professional business organization, Fusion recognizes the importance of professional development and works hard to make sure that members are more fully prepared for the workforce.
