Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois prides itself on its preparation of students to become leaders in business and society. One of those leaders, Mr. Thomas Sleeman, College of Business Class of '54, made a significant financial contribution to the College of Business to fund leadership education for top students. The Sleeman Leadership Institute, an annual program for all freshman James Scholars, is a direct result of Tom and Nancy Sleeman's generosity. The conference features interactive presentations and breakout sessions led by leadership experts to help students develop leadership skills to put into practice no matter where they are.
Sleeman Leadership Institute 2025 will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at the Illini Union.
