Workshops

The Margolis Lab provides workshops to teach University of Illinois students the most versatile and important financial software, including Bloomberg, Excel, Python, CapIQ and more. Taking a Workshop from the Margolis Lab will equip you to succeed in the vast world of finance. These are open to all undergraduates and graduate students at the University of Illinois.

You can learn from our students what our workshops can provide:

• “The Valuation and Financial Modeling workshop is an excellent way to learn a variety of different software and skills in a short 4-week period. If you are interested in learning more about intrinsic financial valuation or perhaps joining the Investment Banking Academy,  this workshop is for you. • “The Microsoft Excel Certification workshop is a two-part course that includes the associate level and the expert level. Upon completion of the workshop, students will be equipped with the skills needed to take the Microsoft Excel Certification exam.” – Ting
