• Deadline to withdraw from ALL classes and receive an approximate 60% refund for full semester classes

• Deadline for ALL students to drop a POT A (1st 8 week) course via Student Self-Service without grade of W. Students may contact their college office to request an exception by petition to the drop deadline in the case of extraordinary circumstances.
• Deadline for UG to remove incomplete grade from previous semester to prevent change to F grade
• Deadline for UG to file intent to use Campus Grade Replacement option in a POT A course
• Deadline to withdraw from ALL classes and receive an approximate 50% refund for full semester classes

• Margolis Market Information Lab (MIL) is open: The Margolis Market Information Lab (MIL) is open and ready to help give you an edge in your financial professional development. If you are interested in learning how to conduct due diligence, oversee trading, manage industry concentrations, or report on fund performance, there are a variety of options to assist you. • Looking for a summer job? Apply to be a Gies Registration Guide!: The Undergraduate Academic Advising team is looking for current undergraduate students in Gies to assist with virtual New Student Registration programs this summer. Gies Registration Guides work one-on-one with new freshmen and transfer students to help them prepare for their first semester as a Gies student and register for fall 2021 classes. The application closes at 11:55pm on March 1, 2021.

• Major Course Planning: Get the big picture of your major degree progress by attending Major Course Planning Advising. Join Undergraduate Finance and Business Administration Academic Advisors to learn about major degree requirements and begin making course plans for Fall 2021. These events are primarily for newly declared students; however, all students are welcome to attend to learn about course requirements for each major, running a DARS for two majors, accessing the major-specific planning form which guides course selection, and overall connecting with your Major Academic Advisors so they can get to know you better and support you with academic decisions and planning. • International Women's Day: Latinas in HR: Join us for a special virtual International Women’s Day Lunch on Us program scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 12-1 pm. Recognized this year for publishing a #1 Amazon Best-Seller book entitled, Latinas Rising Up in HR, three Illinois alumnae, Priscilla Guasso (BS BADM, 2006), Karina Jimenez (Class of 2011), and Karina Pro (Class 2002) will share an hour of inspirational stories of being Latina in human resources and how they overcame obstacles and defied statistics to achieve their dreams in corporate America. • Graduating Seniors - Dean's Scroll Award is open: The Dean’s Scroll Award, created in 2008, is an annual award presented by the Deans of the Gies College of Business to ten graduating seniors of the College. The award seeks to honor and recognize the seniors who have demonstrated leadership skills that have benefited the Gies College of Business and its students. In order to be recognized as one of the Gies College of Business’s top ten graduating seniors, the student should have not only excelled in the classroom, but also outside of the classroom with a goal of always furthering the mission and vision of the Gies College of Business. Any Gies College of Business undergraduate student who received a degree in August or December 2020 or will receive a degree in May 2021 is eligible to apply. Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.  Recipients will be notified by April 1, 2021. Application Link: go.gies.illinois.edu/deansscroll Questions may be directed to Alex See at asee@illinois.edu.
