  • Priority registration Time Tickets (earliest registration times) for Spring 2022 available on Student Self-Service
  • POT B courses begin (non-traditional courses may begin earlier or later)
October 22 
  • Deadline for UG to add POT B (2nd 8 week) course
  • Deadline for ALL students to drop POT B course for refund if reducing assessment range 
October 29 
  • Deadline to withdraw from the University and receive the minimum 40% pro-rata refund
November 1
  • Priority registration for Spring 2022 begins

  • Gies first and second year students: Apply to the Gies Mississippi Spring Break Project: The Mississippi Project is a spring break trip that gives Gies freshmen and sophomores the opportunity to experience Mississippi and its history, collaborate with the local community, and explore how you can use business as a tool to do good. This is an extraordinary opportunity to understand Business on Purpose in action, and to further discover your own path to purpose.
    Applications for the 2022 Mississippi Project are due October 21, 2021. More info

     
  • Gies Fall Fest 2021 | Oct 20 + 21 | 11 - 3pm | BIF Atrium
    Join in on all the fun on October 20 & 21 from 11-3 PM with pumpkin painting, caricature artist, apple cider, donuts, caramel apples, contests, photo booth and more! Open to all Gies students!
     
  • T&M Program Information Social | Fri., Oct 29 | 12 - 5pm | BIF Courtyard
    Are you a freshman or sophomore interested in taking the T&M Seminar or T&M Minor Program? Want to learn more about the program and talk to students currently in the program? Come hang out with us in BIF's beautiful courtyard while enjoying some tasty fall treats and crafts!
     
  • Peer Tutoring:  Free tutoring in BADM 210, BADM 211, CS 105, ECON 102/103/302 and FIN 221. Sundays 5pm -8pm, Mondays 1pm -3pm; 5pm -7pm and Tuesdays 1pm -3pm.Tutors are available to help lead group discussions, walk through homework, prepare for office hours, and help with exam preparation.  More info
     
  • Undergraduate Graduation PlanningAre you planning to graduate May 2022? Your Undergraduate Academic Advising Team can help you prepare for graduation. At Graduation Planning you will work with your advising team to learn how to apply for graduation, confirm that your name is on the degree list, and review your degree requirements for your final semester in Gies. Register

  • Your Career Path and the Recruitment Process Learn about the career paths, job opportunities, and recruiting process related to your major directly from recruiters and professionals. Register on Gies Groups: https://giesgroups.illinois.edu/bcs/upcoming-events/
     
  • Flu Shots in BIF this week: Students, faculty, staff, and retirees will have an opportunity again this year to receive flu shots (influenza vaccine) through the McKinley Health Center. Flu shot clinics will be held in the BIF Commons during the week of October 18-22 (no clinic on Wednesday, October 20):

    Mon. October 18 | 10:30 am-2:30 pm
    Tues. October 19 | 9 am-1 pm
    Thurs. October 21 | 12-4 pm
    Fri. October 22 | 10 am-2 pm

    All participants must have building access using the Safer Illinois app or boarding pass. Students will need their i-cards.
