Apply for May 2023 Graduation!

APPLY during course registration!

Notify the college of your May 2023 graduation plans through Self-Service as soon as your time ticket opens. Instructions to APPLY for graduation can be found on Undergraduate Academic Advising Gies Groups. DO NOT wait until you have registered for all your courses.  Apply now!

CONFIRM using your DARS!

After you apply for graduation, you can confirm your name is on the May 2023 Graduation List by running a new DARS. This typically takes 24 hours after you apply for graduation.  Follow the instructions on Gies Groups to CONFIRM your name is on the graduation list, and view instructions to review your DARS to make sure you are on track for graduation.  Attend Express Advising to speak with an advisor about your graduation progress.

CELEBRATE May 2023!

• Ceremonies:  Applying for graduation means you will begin receiving ceremony information in the spring.  Upcoming ceremony information will be provided on the Campus Commencement  and Gies Convocation pages. 
• First Destination Celebration:  If you have landed a new job or been accepted to graduate school, please attend the First Destination Celebration and complete the Illinois Success Survey to receive a gift.
