A message from Dean Jackson:

To the Gies family, allow me to express my gratitude for your commitment to keeping yourselves and each other safe. By now you have heard from the Chancellor that your discipline over the last two weeks has made a real difference in the rate of positive COVID test results among our community. While some restrictions will be lifted, please continue to be safe. Both the campus and Gies have been planning safe in-person events and I hope you’ll take advantage (you can find information about some events in this newsletter, so keep reading). For those who have tested positive or have been directly impacted in other ways, please know that you are not forgotten. Our thoughts go out to you, and I pray you find health and peace in whatever loss you have suffered. My encouragement to you is found in the words of the ancient psalmist: “There may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning.” Our morning will come…be well, everyone.
