ECE 317: ECE for Technology and Management

Basic understanding of electrical and computer engineering concepts, including circuit components; ac and dc fundamentals; semiconductors; operational amplifiers; device fabrication; power distribution; digital devices; computer architecture.

All students TMGT 366: Product Design and Development Presents an overview of the product development process from concept generation to design manufacturing and project management. Emphasis on product definition, early concept development, visual reasoning and engineering graphics.

TAM 201: Mechanics for Technology and Management

Introduction to engineering mechanics(statics, dynamics, solid mechanics, and fluid mechanics) and the role that mechanics plays in engineering analysis and design.

All students TMGT 460: Business Process Modeling Introduces the identification and analysis of various aspects of business processes. The course defines business processes and provides tools for designing and analyzing them.

Description

All students TMGT 461: Technology, Engineering, and Management Capstone Project A hands-on technology management course that will transform you into an efficient and effective manager who can solve problems, meet deadlines, overcome obstacles, communicate effectively, and produce high-quality results. This course will prepare you for the rigors of a full-time position by pairing you with other T&M students to work as a team to solve a modern business problem drawn from one of the industry leaders we partner with for the course.

*This is a four-credit hour course.

**This course typically requires off-campus travel for one project kickoff meeting early in the spring semester.
 

Optional Courses

  • All T&M students are eligible to apply for a spot in BUS 199: T&M Global Business Practices. This course is the international immersion experience offered twice per year exclusively for T&M students.
  • This is a one-credit hour course that is added to the fall semester for travel over winter break or to the spring semester for travel immediately following graduation.
  • The course may be repeated for credit.
