The T&M Seminar (BADM/ENG 261) provides students with an introduction to technology and management careers through a series of talks presented by industry leaders from Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500 companies. Students are provided the opportunity to begin building their professional brand and networking skills through a series of professional development activities including attending networking dinners with industry professionals and cultivating their professional brand through a digital portfolio.

Taken in the fall semester of their sophomore year, the seminar covers current topics in technology and management presented by senior executives from a wide range of industries. Executives discuss challenges they confront and approaches taken in the execution of their leadership roles. The format of the class encourages dialogue and discussions between executives and students.

Enrollment in the course is restricted to sophomores enrolled in one of the eligible business or engineering majors. The T&M Seminar is a one-credit hour course that meets each Friday at 12:00 pm.

Please note: While highly encouraged, participating in the T&M Seminar is not a prerequisite to be selected for the T&M Program. The T&M Seminar is not a reflection of the type of coursework completed in the T&M minor. All students should attend information sessions to learn about the T&M Program and its associated minor.
