Textbooks

Some courses do not require students to purchase textbooks but instead to obtain articles from the University Library. To view a list of textbooks in courses that require them, visit the textbooks webpage.

Creating a Library Account

Set up your University Library account and start exploring the Library resources! This can be done after you receive your iCard when you arrive on-campus. If you are unable to obtain an iCard or are an online student (not provided an iCard), visit this Library FAQ page for more login details. You do NOT need a library account to access subscription e-resources from Library webpages. This can be done using your NetID and Password.

Disability Resources & Educational Services Accommodations

The Division of Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) is the designated office of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that maintains disability-related documents, certifies eligibility for disability services, determines reasonable accommodations, and develops and coordinates plans for the provision of such accommodations for students with disabilities. Contact DRES immediately if you are seeking accommodations, as requests can take some time to process. Students who wish to learn more about our services should call 217-333-4603, where they will be routed to the appropriate access specialist, or they can visit the DRES website to complete and submit an application and review the disability documentation requirements.
