Join us for our 3rd and 4th InFocus session with Jen House, our embedded counselor. This 4-week program is designed to address concerns students with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and ADHD-like symptoms commonly have.
4pm - 5pm | BIF 1041 - The Lab

Stop by to grab a free copy of Emotional Intelligence 2.0 which we will be discussing during our EQ series. Free stress balls, tea, and treats provided! 
11am - 1pm | BIF 1041 - The Lab

RIO is a two-part program that teaches students techniques for recognizing and moving past situations that cause stress, frustration, and anxiety. Open to all Illinois students- no need to be a Counseling center client. Attending both sessions are reccomended.
5-6pm |  BIF 1041

Take Ten minutes to engage in a calming sensory break with free aromatherapy sticker dots and tactile grounding activities with Gies embedded clinical counselor, Jen House. 
10:30am - 12:30pm | BIF Atrium - 1038 West 

Have a quiet intentional place to study. Stay with us 45 minutes, and receive access to free snacks, food, and break activities.
3pm - 6pm | BIF 1049

RIO is a two-part program that teaches students techniques for recognizing and moving past situations that cause stress, frustration, and anxiety. Open to all Illinois students- no need to be a Counseling center client. Attending both sessions are reccomended.
5-6pm | BIF 1041

Hosted by Peer Mentors and Tutors Sundays - Wednesdays. Tutoring for early Business Core courses: CS 105, Econ 102, Econ 103, FIN 221, Math 234, STAT 100, STAT 107. Meet with the team one-on-one, as a group, or just sit and study.

This series is typically offered throughout the fall and spring semesters. This program is open to all Illinois students—you do not need to be a current client of the Counseling Center.

This series is interactive and gives students practical tips for improving focus. We’ll cover:

Week 1: Procrastination
Week 2: Time Management
Week 3: Goal Setting
Week 4: Stress Management and Self-Care
It works best if you attend all weeks, but you can attend any of the weeks as a stand-alone workshop.
