- Campus Walk for Suicide Awareness | Sun. Sept 18 | 6:30pm | Anniversary Plaza, Illini Union | [RSVP:1769556]
“Finding the Light in the Darkness” is an organized movement to raise awareness for those affected by suicide and mental struggles. Coming out of a global pandemic, those impacted are at an all-time high. The 2022 Prevention Walk is aimed to send the message that suicide is preventable and no student, faulty, or staff member on this campus is alone. We invite all members of the University of Illinois community to join us in this experience. Together we can continue the conversation about mental health and find the light in the darkness.
Please contact Michel Watkins at michelaw@illinois.edu if you have any questions.
