Questions about the Business Minor?

Are you interested in declaring a Business Minor or are you a current Business Minor with some questions?  The Business minor offers both 1:1 advising (in-person and virtual) and informational workshops for current Business Minors and any undergraduates.  Students are also welcome to email the Business Minor with any questions.

Business Minor Informational Workshops with Q & A following the presentation.  Registration for these workshops will open on 1/20/2026 at 8:30 am through 1:00 pm on the day of the workshop and is required to receive the Zoom invite information.  On these days there will NOT be in-person or virtual advising appointments!

Business Minor 1:1 Advising

Thursdays, January 29th, 2026 - May 7th, 2026 (while classes are in session) 1:30 – 4:30 pm.  15-minute appointments either in-person 1055 BIF (check in at front desk) or virtual (you will receive a Teams/Zoom invite upon scheduling).  Schedule an appointment here

Business Minor Drop-in/Express Advising   Drop in for a quick, 15-minute advising appointment with a Gies Business academic advisor.

When: Tuesdays from 2-4 pm during the Spring, 2026 semester, while classes are in session starting Tuesday January 27th, 2026 - May 5th, 2026.

Where: 5th floor of the Illini Union Bookstore Building (check in at the front desk of Exploratory Studies)
