Group Settings

Required Group Settings

1. Enter the Group Name, Group Type, Mission and Group Acronym under the Basic Information Tab

2. Enter the Group Email under the Address Tab

3. Under Access and Privacy, select a member validation preference to determine if membership requests are validated automatically

4. Under Membership, set Membership default duration to "Ends at Graduation"

Basic Information Publish - Select yes to make group website accessible
Basic Information Close Group - Select yes to require members to be added by officers
Address Add mailing address if appropriate
Membershi Set a membership fee and duration of time the fee covers
Payments Set up a connection to your organization PayPal account for membership fees, event fees, and merchandise payment collection
Social Networks Connect organization social media sites to your Gies Groups page
