RSO Website Criteria

In order to maintain a presence on Gies Groups, all Registered Student Organizations must adhere to the following criteria.

Officers and Membership Information

• An updated officer list on the website including at least the president

• No graduated students listed as officers (uncheck officer box to retire)

• The "main contact" checkbox checked for at least one club officer - OR - list a club email address in the "Group Email" box in the club's settings area.

• The "Membership Default Duration" field (directly under membership privacy) set to "Ends at Graduation"

Group Information

• RSOs must include a mission in their group description and on their home page

• Group officers must be displayed along with their role

• A "Contact Us" section must be displayed and open to the public

• All Public Photos must abide by school policy

• All content must be up-to-date (on site pictures can be old, but text and contact info should be updated)
