McKinsey & Company is an worldwide management consulting firm that serves a broad mix of private, public, and social sector institutions. It conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate management decisions within these sectors.

With regards to the hiring process, if selected through the application process, there will be two rounds of interviews; the Experience Interview and Problem Solving Interview. With regards to the Problem Solving Interview specifically, these are mainly interviewer led. Therefore they will already have a set of questions to ask after they are finished presenting the case to you.

Boston Consulting Group

The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. (BCG) is an American multinational management consulting firm with more than 90 offices in 50 countries. It is one of the "Big Three" strategy consulting firms and advises clients in management decisions across private, public, and Nonprofit organization sectors around the world.

The interview process consists of at least two rounds of interviews; Each round will be divided into three parts; Knowing More About You, Understanding How to Solve Problems, Answering Your Questions.

For the Problem Solving portion of the interview, this will mostly be interviewee led. It will be all about your ability to crack a broad problem, up to you to lay down the structure. Additionally for the Answering Your Questions portion of the interview, this is a good opportunity to ask about the interviewer's personal experiences. Take advantage of this because this will show true enthusiasm.

Bain & Company is a global management consultancy headquartered in Boston, MA. It is one of the "Big Three" management firms and specializes in providing advice to public, private, and non-profit organizations.

The interview process for Bain & Company consists of a two rounds. The first round consists of two interviewee-led case interviews, with a quick fit-portion before the case. The second round consists of three interviewee-led case interviews, with a quick fit-portion before the case, as well as one experience based interview, where you will be asked several behavioral questions based on your resume. The cases range in industry focus and topic, however commonly do cover the private equity industry, and deal with issues related to profitability. The ability to drive the case forward, as well as a results-oriented focus throughout the interviews will differentiate a candidate.

Deloitte

Deloitte is a multinational professional services network dedicated to providing audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services. It is one of the "Big Four" accounting organizations and is the largest professional network in the world by revenue and number of employees.

If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a member of our recruiting team to schedule an interview, typically within one to two weeks.

The first step in the interview process is typically an introductory phone or video interview with the recruiter. The focus of this conversation will be to learn more about your background while you learn more about Deloitte and the role. While, the interview process varies based on business and role for which you are being considered, you can typically expect 2-3 rounds of interviews, via either telephone,video, or in-person.

If you advance through the process, you will meet with several of our professionals and may go through a mix of behavioral, technical, and case-based interviews, depending on the role for which you are being considered.It's worth mentioning that the case interviews will in fact be interviewee led, which means it will be up to you to make sure you understand the problem and then lay down the structure.

Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) is a multinational professional services network headquartered in London, UK. PwC is one of the "Big Four" auditors and ranks as the second largest professional services firm behind Deloitte. PwC's professional services, including audit and assurance, tax and consulting, cover such areas as cybersecurity and privacy, human resources, deals and forensics.

With regards to the interview process, PwC consists of 2 phone interviews followed by an in-person interview with a case study. The case study portion of the in-person interview will be an interviewee led approach, which means it will be about your ability to crack a broad problem and it will be up to you to lay down the structure.

KPMG

KPMG is also one of the "Big Four" auditors and is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.

If you happen to get invited for an interview, the first step is a phone interview or an interview on campus. Here you can expect a lot of fit and behavioral type questions to be fired your way. Next, face-to-face are going to be conducted by panels of 2-3 staff members. This is where you are likely to get presented with a hypothetical case because they want to test your technical knowledge. The case interview will have an interviewee led approach, where it will be about your ability to crack a broad problem and lay down the structure.

Accenture is a global management consulting and professional services firm that provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services. A Fortune Global 500 company, serving clients in more than 200 cities in 120 countries.

When it comes to the second round of interviews, if you're applying for a management consulting position, you will have a case interview. If you are applying for a IT Consulting position, then you will end up having a technical interview. Whether you end up having a case or technical interview, it will be interviewee led; therefore you will not only have to crack a broad problem but also be the one to lay down the structure.

Protiviti

Protiviti is a global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise and objective insights. Their main industries include: critical business problems in technology consulting, business process, analytics, risk, compliance, transactions and internal audit.

The first round interview is split between both a behavioral and case interview. The case interview will be interviewer led, so not only will the case be pre-structured, but there will also be predetermined questions.

The second and final round interviews are held in the office, where interviewees are introduced around the office and concludes with a short, 15 minute conversational interview.

West Monroe Partners is a multinational management and technology consulting firm. Mainly known for their professional services offerings including: banking, credit unions, capital markets, private equity, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, energy, utilities, retail, manufacturing and distribution and technology.

A typical interview starts with a phone screening. If the candidate passes the phone screen then an onsite interview usually consists of at least 4 separate interviews where each focuses on a case study, behavior, firm fit, and so on. During the portion where a case study is presented, it will involve an interviewer led approach, which means there will be pre-structured cases and predetermined questions.
