In order to become a Bain & Company consultant, candidates must make it through two rounds of interviewee-led case interviews with quick fit-portions before each case. The first round consists of two case interviews while the second round entails three case interviews and a behavioral interview based on your resume. The case interview topics could be centered around any industry, however, it is common for interviewees to discuss Bain & Company's specialty, the private equity industry and how to deal with profitability-related issues.

Candidates for consulting positions at Deloitte could expect two rounds of interviews after the initial application screening. The first round interview includes a brief case interview and a behavioral interview. Consultants who make it to the second round will spend approximately 45 minutes going over an interviewer-led case and behavioral interview. Deloitte values structure in their interviews and rarely emphasizes quantitative analysis.
Ernst & Young
Ernst & Young is a Big 4 financial services firm headquartered in the heart of London, England. EY specializes in Assurance, Tax, Advisory, and Transaction Advisory Services. EY operates four subservice lines within their Advisory sector which include Actuarial, IT Risk & Assurance, Risk, and Performance Improvement. Consultants who interview at EY will be invited to a series of first-round assessments. Before the first round interview, candidates will be asked to complete an online business knowledge and critical thinking writing assessment. The night before a first round interview, candidates are invited to a social night meant for introducing themselves to their interviewers. The next day is a behavioral interview. Consultants offered a final-round interview will be invited to tour the office before a casual behavioral interview that relates to experience and career goals. Interviewees will also complete a brief case study.

PwC conducts on-campus behavioral interviews as the first stage of their recruiting process. It is common to be asked a small case question. Candidates advancing to the second round will be invited to their office for a series of interviews. Case interview materials are sent out to candidates 48 hours prior to their interview. During the final assessment, consultants will be asked several questions related to their case interview materials and will be asked to construct a handwritten PowerPoint deck to answer the questions. After a short period of time, interviewees will be asked to present their deck to a PwC employee.
