Investment Management Academy

Illini Capital Management Fund

The Investment Management Academy acts as the fund manager for the Illini Capital Management Fund. The Fund was established by the Gies College of Business and the University of Illinois Foundation to invest capital generously provided by donors to the Academy. Investment Management Academy students, with faculty oversight, are responsible for managing all aspects of the Fund including design of the investment strategy, research and selection of securities, portfolio risk management and analysis, and performance reporting. The Fund is an equity-based, long only fund that invests in both value and growth securities, pursuant to its investment policy statement.

The Fund is currently open to prospective donors that are interested in meeting and collaborating with the students in Investment Management Academy. Performance details and other data are available upon request.
