Hedge: Equities, Options, and Alternatives, or simply Hedge, is a student organization that is partnered with the Investment Management Academy and Investment Banking Academy. Hedge's mission is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of finance and investing, as well as prepare students for careers in the financial industry.
Concepts will be learned through weekly education lessons on financial markets, investment pitches, and market updates, culminating with a portfolio competition at the end of the semester.
Hedge will provide students with the tools and financial knowledge to pursue a variety of careers in Finance, Valuation, and Investment Management. Participants of Hedge will be given access to exclusive workshops and networking with organizations like IMA, IBA, IBC, etc.
