Designed for any Gies student who is exploring career opportunities and who wants to build their professional network! Past participants included freshmen-seniors.
Participants will complete engaging online, self-paced modules including: CliftonStrengths Assessment, Personality/Values and Interests Assessments and a leadership assessment. In addition, you will learn about potential career paths, determine your "fit" for a variety of careers.
Plus, you'll get to network with alumni during live sessions on Zoom. We host a variety of panels with recent grads and experienced professionals.
The summer culminates with our signature experience--a one-on-one informational interview with a professional in a business career path that aligns with your interests. Students often say that this is one of the most impactful activities they have at Gies!
The program launches June 10th and you will have through August 5th to complete the program in order to earn your certificate. The modules can be done at your own pace, you can choose to complete the modules weekly or do several at a time.
The application form will open on March 10th, 2025. Space is limited! For full consideration, applications must be submitted by April 11th, 2025.
Selected participants will be notified in late April.
Participants are invited to participate in virtual LIVE! events with our employers and young alumni throughout the summer. You'll build your network and develop professional relationships while learning practical information about your career path!
Plus, we'll help you connect personally with a professional in your desired industry.
Students who complete all modules will receive the CEO Certificate (awarded by Accredible). Plus, you'll end your summer feeling more confident about your career choices and with an expanded professional network!
