Major Course Planning

Spring 2023 registration video series (Fall 2022 OCT and ICT required)

Winter and Spring course registration is almost here and as a first-year Gies students, transfers are required to complete a two part registration video series.  This series is valuable to learn about major specific course registration and academic success in the Gies College of Business. Each student will learn how to access their Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) to review their progress toward their degree and plan next semester's courses, so please follow along closely with a course planning form.  Please complete the video series by November 1st to avoid a hold being placed on your student account and you will not be allowed to register for Spring 2023 classes.

After you complete the series, we welcome you to schedule an appointment with a professional academic advisor. Please bring your course planning form materials to the appointment with drafted plans to discuss. You can also see a Gies Peer Advisor for help with registration assistance. They are available Monday - Friday from 10am to 5pm in the Success Lab (1041 BIF). **Note - Due to Spring Semester Planning for Freshmen, peer advising will not be available October 17th - October 21st1.  They are available as scheduled any other day of the semester and are happy to help you finalize your schedule.
